ABOUT THE ARTIST

I'm a worldly artist who is inspired and influenced by the multicultural landscapes of my childhood. Born in Cuba and raised in Colombia, Israel, and Miami, I learned early on that language, world culture, fashion, music, and art would shape my world and my perspective. I received my BA in Languages from Hunter College and worked as a translator in NYC before moving to Boulder, Colorado where I live and make art. My artistic style is influenced by my travels and a love of geometrical patterns, optical illusions, and color. "Whimsy is my muse," but my expressions are often precise and require a careful hand. I'm excited by playing with shapes and color in new ways, and to let my imagination guide me.
